Can You Check Fesco Bill By CNIC and Meter Number?

I have to know through my research that some third party websites claim to offer the option to check your FESCO bill using your CNIC or meter number. The reality is you can not check FESCO bill by CNIC, you must need reference number or consumer ID to view your bill online. The websites offering CNIC options can misuse your personal data, please don’t share your such data.

Why Can’t You Check Your FESCO Bill By CNIC or Meter Number?

Fesco does not provide this service officially, if some sites claiming there can be two reasons

  1. they just want traffic
  2. they want to misuse your personal details

So, if you see any website claiming to check your bill through name, address, CNIC or meter number. Never share your such details because they are likely collecting your personal information for any other purpose.

The Right Way to Check Your FESCO Bill

To check your FESCO bill correctly, you need either your reference number or consumer ID. This information is printed on your previous bills. Here’s how you can check your bill

Use this method to check bill instead of by CNIC
  1. Visit the Official FESCO Website:
    • Go to FESCO’s official bill check page or https://ebil.pk/ and navigate to Fesco bill
    • Enter your consumer ID or reference number (no signup no CNIC required)
    • Click check my bill button (it will find your bill from fesco system using your reference number)
    • Now click on open my bill button
    • That’s it, your latest bill is on your screen.
  2. FESCO Mobile App
    • Download the official FESCO mobile app.
    • Log in with your consumer ID to check your bill details.
  3. SMS Service:
    • You can also use fesco sms service to view your bill with due date but it is not your full bill.

By following these methods, you ensure that your information stays secure, and you are using the official channels to view your bill.

New Meter? Don’t Worry!

If you’ve recently installed a new meter, you might be wondering why your bill hasn’t arrived yet. Don’t worry, this is normal. New meters are often set up in a way that the first bill may take up to three months to arrive. If it has been more than three months and you haven’t received your bill, you can visit your local FESCO subdivision office and speak with the SDO (Sub-Divisional Officer) to check the status of your meter.

Key Takeaways

  • Avoid third-party websites that claim you can check your bill through CNIC or meter number.
  • Only use your consumer ID or reference number for bill checks.
  • If you have a new meter, your first bill may take longer to arrive, so be patient.
  • If your bill is delayed for more than three months, visit the nearest FESCO office for assistance.

By following these guidelines, you can safely and accurately check your FESCO bill.
